The Rum Runner Inn located in the historic town of Lunenburg can take you back to days gone by, when rum-running was a favorite backhaul for Lunenburg captains taking salt cod to the Caribbean. Many of Lunenburg's old buildings were built on the proceeds of this era. Lunenburg, a UNESCO World Heritage site offers many things to discover.
While staying at the Rum Runner Inn you may stroll along the waterfront, visit Bluenose II when in port, the Fisheries Museum of the Atlantic as well as the many crafts people located within the town. The Rum Runner Inn is located in the building where the sails for the original Bluenose were manufactured.
Open year-round the Rum Runner Inn is the ideal place to stay. Our relaxing atmosphere, convenient location, large spacious rooms and restaurant on site all combine to make your stay enjoyable. The Rum Runner restaurant serves fresh local seafood and delectable deserts, all lovingly prepared by our German Chef.
A great way to end your day - enjoy the waterfront view from our open veranda.
At the Rum Runner Inn you can awake to the cries of the local sea-gulls, the smell of the fresh salt air or take a stroll along the docks.
